My History
Born and raised in Melville, I love the city and people in it.  I am a graduate of Melville High School.

Ever since a young boy, all I could dream of being is Chief of Police of Melville.  As a child, I walked in my father's footsteps as he was the Chief of police of Melville for 18 years.  I also got to ride along with him and my Uncle who was also in law enforcement in their patrol cars.  When I became of age my father, Jessie Moreau, mentored me and taught me all about how to be a great Chief of Police, he was the Chief for 18 years.

I have served in law enforcement for 21 years.  I served as a Deputy Sheriff of St. Landry Parish for 12 years.  In Simmesport, I was a Patrol Officer for 1 years.  Later I became a Patrol Officer in Palmetto for 3 1/2 years.  I am the current Chief of Police for the town of Melville.  I an running for re-election and asking for your support to re-elect me in the upcoming election.

I am also a commissioned Deputy Sheriff in 4 parishes:  St. Landry, Evangeline, Avoyelles, and Pointe Coupee.

On off days I can be found relaxing watching NFL football or hunting.

During my time as Chief of Police of Melville, I have made improvements to the department.  I was able to get 6 patrol cars donated to the department from other agencies. Hired 1 full time worker and 1 part time worker who I also sent to get certified in fire arms and chemical disasters.  I was also able to get radios and bullet proof vest and other vital equipment donated.
